Train fares and tariffs / Vienna-Durnstein-Munich

We are looking to go from Vienna to Durnstein and then Munich. Anyone know anything about a sparscheinne(sp?) fare from Vienna to Munich and how this applies to stopping in Durnstein? Should we return to Vienna after Durnstein and then to Munich? Is there a discount from Vienna to Durnstein one way or return? Any suggestions?
