CityStar OSE-MAV: here the best part is that you can purchase it not only till Budapest, but all the way to HU/SLO border (meaning for route Thess.-Belgrade-Budapest-Hodos (gr) & back). However the total price for such citystar for 4 passengers these days would be more than 400 euro + another five or so euro for the part from the border to Murska Sobota

Does anyone how much the OSE Sell there City Star?

I have to give an warning to everyone who will Travel in Greece!

1) The OSE can strike for no reasons. Holiday? Strike. Bad Weather? Strike.
2) If you want travel from A to B there are quite only IC Trains. The Problem is the require an VERY HIGHT RESERVATION FEE (where you cant find online)!!!

May Personal opinion is Buy your Train Ticket online on the OSE Website. What realy work is the Automatic Refund when the Train do no operate.
So how you can see when a Train is operate or no? If you see 24h before departure any Train online the might Strike again.

True, you can get online via MAV website fortuna ticket Budapest-Craiova for only 19 euro, however MAV also offers discounted sparnights Budapest-Sofia (seats 29 euro, couchette 39 euro & 54 euro sleeper)

WTF the MAV have discount Tickets for that Train?!
I searched online and the chepast way (Vienna -> Athen) was an City Star: https://www.mavcsoport.hu/mav-start/nemzetkozi-utazas/ervenyes-dijszabasok
for 206€ (1Class is Required for Single Sleeping Car).

In CZ, if you buy a ticket using e-shop and you set wrong id card or passport number, the ticket is not valid and not returned. You just spend a buck for nothing.

haha on my trip to CZ and SK I add any numbers any nobody carred anything about. The most important thing is the Name.
I never travel in Europe with an Passport so...

Please note for everyone who want travel to the "Vienna" Airport some Trains end in Wien HBF when the are a little late and do NOT continue to the Vienna Airport.

Plan B is search for the Conductor and let the give you an Stamp and Mark that the Train is terminating in Wien HBF (or in the Ticket office but you risk to wait for 10 - 20min depend on the Time).
Rush to the Track 2 (Downstairs!) get any Train who are departing there to "Wien Rennweg" where every 30Min Local Trains to Vienna Airport depart.
