Title: Corail Lunea trains missing from timetable or suspended?
Post by: rasha on June 20, 2010, 04:30:57 pm
I noticed that lot of Corail Lunea trains are not shown in SNCF timetable for this summer. And even more are not shown in HAFAS timetable. Is there some problem with timetable system, or there really not running this summer? Specificaly for train 4630 Hendaye - Nice Ville HAFAS timetable says it is running only on this days: LINK (http://reiseauskunft.bahn.de/bin/traininfo.exe/en/529212/325377/8476/172166/80?ld=96204&seqnr=19&ident=5i.023901204.1277043193&date=18.06.10&station_evaId=8700149&station_type=dep&currentReferrer=tp&rt=1&).

Maybe you know something more about this issue?

As far as we remember, last summer similar things happened, after new summer timetable some Corail Lunea trains changed frequency, so it is fully possible that trains don't run during some month (like July and August with 4630).
Possible explanation - SNCF lacks sleeper carriages and higher need for those on some other more popular Lunea routes, then obviously less popular routes suffer, but it is only our guess.
