Hi, can you help me to figure out if it is possible to use Inter rail pass on commuter trains between Madrid-Atocha and Madrid-Chamartin? My train arrives at Chamartin, but I need to get to the city center.

Don't worry, you can use Interrail pass on any trains operated by RENFE (Spanish railways), Cersanias (or commuter) trains are among those. So just board any train from Chamartin to Atocha
