There is no more direct rail connection from Vienna to France, thus it's impossible to purchase one SparSchiene (='discounted') ticket, but it is still possible to travel by train with a change in Germany and two separate discounted tickets. Station of change really depends on your preferences, it can be Cologne in the morning (with overnight Vienna-Cologne), can be Munich (with overnight Munich-Paris) or the fastest is daytime TGV from Munich etc. Exact fare also really depends on your dates of travel, since with SparSchiene tickets it the earlier you purchase the better chances to get lowest fare. Saying roughly, the best combination can get you Vienna-Paris with change in Germany for around 55-60 EUR. Bus? hmm... Are you sure you want to travel like 1300 km by bus? And anyway, we doubt it will be much cheaper than discounted train tickets, unless you want to travel like tomorrow. An ok option also might be flying, there are a few not extremely expensive airlines on the route (like FlyNiki, which can give you fare <50 EUR for certain dates.
