what is the most economical way to accomplish this trip, traveling june 5 to june 14. appreciate and really impressed with info.hope to get some help as well.

Ok, so let's go step by step:
Vienna-Heviz: first of all, Heviz doesn't have rails (closest railway station is Keszthely), so you'll eventually will need to use bus. As result this is the most tricky segment because of the variety of possibilities, thus it's hard to guess which one you'll like more: a) cheapest will be to purchase discounted Sparschiene ticket Vienna-Nagykanizsa or Pecs, it will cost 19 EUR (app.25 USD) and connection is in the morning (dep. 7:02am from Vienna), then you have a few option on where to change for bus to Heviz. First one will be get off in Zalaszentivan,  catch local bus to the nearest big town called Zalaegerszeg (which is just 10 min. away), from there you can get direct bus to Heviz, which run rather often. So getting off in Zalaszentivan at 9:46am will get you to Heviz either at 11:30 or 12:20 (depending on the day of the week), bus tickets for both segment will cost you 1000 HUF (app. 4,5 USD) in total. Other option is not to get off in Zalaszentivan, but go all the way to Nagykanizsa (arr.10:39), from where there is a direct everyday bus to Heviz at 12:30 (arr.14:05), ticket will cost you 1120 HUF (app.5 USD) or during working week there is also bus Nagykanizsa-Keszthely 11:45-13:10. That was option A Biggest problem here is that discounted ticket Vienna-Nagykanizsa/Pecs and in order to obtain it you'll need to email Austrain railways directly (email can be found in the bottom of our Austria page) and ask for it; b) don't bother will all the changes, emails etc., but just go via Budapest, thus by direct ticket Vienna-Budapest (again 19 EUR if you purchase in advance on OeBB website), then either direct train Budapest-Keszthely (3410 HUF and a bit more than 3 hours) or direct bus Budapest-Heviz (up to 7 dep. per day, from 2:30-2:40 and same fare as train to Keszthely). That about option B, pros are that you basically travel with one change and can buy Vienna-Budapest ticket online, while cons are that you pay roughly 10 EUR more (comparing to option A); c) in case you are interested, it's possible to travel via either Gyor or Sopron/Szombathely. The above places are kind of interesting + both options doesn't involve any ticket purchase in advance and will cost somewhere in between option 'a' and 'b'. Not the best thing about both is need to quite a few changes, but still, if you are interested, then let us know, we'll try to describe those as well.

Heviz-Budapest: basically see above, it's either direct bus or train from Keszthely
Budapest-Prague: here cheapest option is to purchase SparDay ticket for 19 EUR, it's possible via Hungarian Railways website. Interface is a bit tricky and eventually will switch to Hungarian, but it's still ok and manageable with google translate (+ we can always help in case you having troubles with something). If you plan to spend some time in Heviz (like a week or so), then you can as well buy same ticket already in Hungary (like if you travel Vienna-Budapest-Heviz) or at Keszthely train station they should be able to sell it as well.
Prague-Vienna: this one is the easiest, since you just need to visit Czech Railways eShop and buy there in advance discounted (again 19 EUR) ticket. In case you interested in overnight trains, then there is a bit different trick, so just let us know whether you might need it

p.s. also we forgot to mention, that during the season there should be direct buses Vienna-Heviz. For instance, last year was something like this (http://www.eurolines.at/uploads/6011_Heviz.pdf) or another less known etc. As you can see yourself, fares aren't that cheap either, plus (at least from the above info) it doesn't run everyday, so still traveling with change and by train will be more secure and comfortable.

Unfortunately no, sorry. We tend simple to get lost in the city on our own ))) It requires a lot of time, but eventually leads to some rather interesting discoveries

chacked with eurolines they do not have bus from vienna and not planning to have it in june, waiting for response from Elite tours. it be easy as u siggested to go to budapest and take a bus from there to heviz but it takes all together 6 hours to get there. wonder if we should just rent a car from vienna to heviz and back to vienna and then start the journey to prague

Actually it sounds like an alternative option in case you don't mind driving. Basically it's just 200km from Vienna to Heviz. And if to compare total sums, then it makes it minimally around 23 EUR per person Vienna-Heviz, then another 10 EUR Heviz-Budapest and min.13 EUR Budapest-Vienna by train, thus around 36 EUR per person (or 72 EUR for two) for a circle Vienna-Heviz-Budapest-Vienna, but that's like best case scenario with purchased in advance rail tickets
Regarding car hire, we didn't check all the companies, but it seems not a problem to find rentals around 30 EUR per day

 from elite tours: Our bus is going every Friday and Sunday from Vienna to heviz and also from heviz to Vienna. No other day! The price for a retour ticket  is € 53 per Person.

Pls book in advance per Mail. The payment should  also be made in advance per creditcard if possible.

Honestly, paying 53 EUR per person for one-way (you won't use the return part if you plan to include Budapest somehow) sounds a bit too much, plus only twice a week. But anyway, the choice is yours.

p.s. maybe you should try searching for other companies closer to June, somehow it seems that Heviz as destination is more than just about one company twice a week. At the moment we just found those two (+ a bunch of like 200+ EUR private transfers), but maybe you'll be more successful in finding any other cheaper direct buses

Ok, let's look an each question

Vienna-Budapest (again 19 EUR if you purchase in advance on OeBB website) did not work for me.

Strange, first you need to go to OeBB Online Shop, then enter dep./arr. stations (Vienna-West or Wien Westbahnhof is the main train station, but trains to Budapest also stop at Vienna-Meidling. Then choose date, number of passengers and payment type (from drop down menu Visa, MasterCard etc.), push 'search for offers' button and next page should look like this

In the above you see first full fare, but lower (with green leaf) discounted 19 EUR tickets. Pick dep. you like and on the next page it will redirect for payment, then you'll just get pdf ticket to print at home.

Budapest-Prague: here cheapest option is to purchase SparDay ticket for 19 EUR, it's possible via Hungarian Railways website. want to take overnight train cannot find prices or how to book ticket

Well, trick here is that 19 EUR SparDay tickets are available for the daytime departures only, while for the overnight train there is SparNight offer (seats as well from 19 EUR, 6 berth couchette from 29 EUR, 3 bed sleeper 49 EUR etc.). Unfortunately SparNight tickets aren't sold online, thus if you really intend to travel overnight you have three major options:
a) try purchasing SparNight tickets already in Hungary (but you need to be aware of the fact that those are in limited number, so good chances not to get one if you buy not long in advance)
b) you can purchase online tickets Budapest-Germany for the same 'Metropol' train (it goes Budapest-Bratislava-Prague-Dresden-Berlin) from German Rail website. So you basically can buy ticket Budapest-Dresden, but then just get off in Prague. They also have discounted tickets available (seats from 29 EUR, couchette from 39 EUR and sleepers from 59 EUR). The biggest inconvenience of this option is that train in Prague at 4am.
c) you can as well purchase online tickets from Bratislava to Prague (for carriages attached to the same 'Metropol' Budapest-Berlin train, but arriving to Prague 6:20am instead), it cost 30 EUR for a 3 bed sleeper. The trick is that you purchase Bratislava-Prague 30 EUR discounted ticket in advance, then in Budapest just another one Budapest-Bratislava (17,5 EUR) for the same 'Metropol' train, board the train and in Bratislava you just need to change carriages, thus transfer from you seating carriage (used on Budapest-Bratislava leg) to Bratislava-Prague, which will be attached to the train in Bratislava. Total cost Budapest-Prague with this small change of carriages in Bratislava will cost you 47.5 EUR per person.

Prague-Vienna: this one is the easiest, since you just need to visit Czech Railways eShop could not get a ticket may be yet?

Yep, they sell tickets only 60 days in advance, so today the last day you can purchase it for is May 30. You can just try the procedure for any earlier date, so that when time comes and tickets are available for you June trip you'll already know what and how to proceed
