Hello,

I'm interested in the reimbursement rules for international tickets in case of late arrival / missing connection.

(any external documents appreciated as well)

Are they the same for all the CIV participating countries (in case of international ticket)?

Do they / How much do they reimburse in case of late arrival (depending on the latency time)? For a long trip with a few changes, I can imagine that being late in the end is something very probable... (I guess there may be a difference here between connection-bonded and standard 'open' SCIC-NRT tickets)

In case if an overnight stay is required because of the missed connection, can I simply get an accommodation and be sure I'll get the money back?

In case if I loose a daily connection and need to travel with an overnight train, will I get a couchette reimbursement? (either if the train is sleepers-only or if I take it just for my comfort)

In case if I miss my connection and the alternative train does not follow the same route, should I buy a new ticket for a separate branch (and get reimbursed later) or can I simply board the other train?

Can I handle the demand to any of the participating railways?

Best regards,

Filip.

Well, not a lot to add to the official docs, so: a) GCC-CIV/PRR and b) list of countries applying the GCC-CIV/PRR + 'depth' of application
