Direct East-West tariff ticket will cost 24 EUR per person, while reservation 2/4 cost 12 EUR (that is till Vadul-Siret, but till Dornesti will be either the same or a euro more).
In case you'll travel Lviv-Chernivtsi with UZ domestic fare, then you'll spend from 1.3 EUR (seating carriage) till 6.5 EUR ('kupe' 2/4 with bed linen included). While ticket for the only officially listed bus Chernivtsi-Suceava cost app.6 EUR (65 UAH). Seems that it doesn't have any intermediate stop in Romania, but maybe it can drop you off somewhere not far from Dornesti (like turn from E85 to domestic Romanian route 17A)
In terms of timetable everything depends on your choice out of options. In case you decide to use direct trains, then not a big choice there. But if you want to save by using early morning bus Chernivtsi-Suceava, then better to use overnight train #668 (dep.Lviv 23:44-arr. Chernivtsi 5:25) so you can catch bus at 7.
