I can't find price info on Beograd-Sofia connection (return)
I have a BC25 card with RAILPLUS.
Will it be cheaper to buy direct return Beograd-Sofia or two return Beograd-Nis and Beograd-Sofia (the second one seems cheaper comparing ZS and jizdenka-50%(SET)).
It is important for me that I can make stopovers as I plan to visit Nis and Pirot on my way.

Full return fare (bought in Serbia/Bulgaria) is 41,2 EUR

Well, it is simple math: full fare Nis-Sofia is 9 euro (return is twice), cheapest (=Putnicki train) full fare ZS Belgrade-Nis is 784 RSD (or extra 100 RSD for Brzi/Fast train). Plus, at least if to believe ZS website, pri kupovini karte u unutrašnjem saobraćaju, ostvaruje popust od 30% na redovnu voznu cenu, which gives additional benefit to "break" tickets

If it's not late now...
Beograd - Sofia return ticket with Railplus is 30,90 EUR.
You can also travel cheaper, avoiding international fare, buying return ticket Beograd - Dimitrovgrad (1523 RSD with Railplus) and then buying ticket from border to Sofia from Bulgarian conductor which is arround 4 BGN, 2 EUR or 250 RSD (payable in all 3 currencies usually).

Is paying in EUR and RSD legal official fare or just BDZ conductors personal "initiative"?
