Travel plans, routes and timetables / Europe Tour for Couple

Hi,
We are such a fun of Amazing race
and this November we want to travel Europe through Barcelona, Paris, Berlin and Rome. We plan to take the night trains from inter-countries and will just book a hotel for a day or two in each country.
As we are on a budget and just want to explore Europe I need your expertise to get best deals on this trip.
