- Passengers purchasing train tickets in advance can take advantage of NSB offer - Minipris - discounted low price one-way tickets for long-distance intercity (Regiontog) trains available for multiple routes & connections. Minipris tickets are limited in number per each departure and start from only 249 NOK (once all the 249 NOK tickets are sold out, minipris fares rises to 299 NOK, then 399 NOK & finally 499 NOK, thus when passenger was not able to catch cheapest 249 NOK minipris tickets he or she still have a chance to buy minipris tickets from a higher price level). - Those who had no chance to catch discounted minipris tickets or didn't want to purchase tickets months in advance can think about purchasing Eurail (non Europeans) or Interrail pass for their rail trips in Norway (and neighboring countries), it can actually make sense even if you plan to make only couple journeys
